The concept of cross-cultural sensitivity can be confusing in today’s complex world. Churches and Christian organizations have a critical duty to show love for all people with greater sincerity and maturity than secular organizations. And while most churches and Christian organizations make earnest and intentional efforts to be beacons of love for all of God’s children, still improvement is needed in the area of cross-cultural sensitivity. This short workshop facilitated by YJ and Tim Veach and designed for church and Christ-centered organization leadership walks participants through a series of theoretical and practical exercises to help participants develop new perspectives and learn new tools that can be used immediately to foster a more sensitive environment within the organization and beyond.

It is imperative that children of missionaries prepare to lead the next generation toward fulfilling the Great Commission by receiving a high quality global education. But for many missionary kids, this is not available or affordable where they live. GCM can facilitate an American online homeschooling program that includes progress checks and tutoring. This can be a life changing opportunity for young people who can benefit from education in English that is recognized at the global level. Missionary families are expected to pay a bi-monthly fee for this service or to find a sponsor to pay the fee for each of their children. GCM may help to identify sponsors or provide limited scholarships. This service is supported by the bi-monthly fee and also by gifts from our gracious donors. We are always looking for sponsors or donors for this ministry, and we seek to identify missionary families around the world that can benefit from this service.

Taking on the stresses and challenges of this world can be a formidable task for any Korean-Americans or other multicultural families. GCM offers non-clinical, biblical counseling to support the life journey of any Korean-American and multicultural families. This service is provided completely online via video conferencing with qualified Christian counselors, and everything shared by clients is held completely confidential.

Clients are asked to pay a bi-monthly fee for this service, or to find a sponsor. GCM may help to identify sponsors or provide limited waivers. This service is supported by the bi-monthly fee and also by gifts from our gracious donors. We are always looking for sponsors or donors for this ministry, and we seek to identify Korean-Americans and multicultural families around the world that can benefit from this service.
